Elena Lelia Radulescu is a Romanian born writer. She has a background in philosophy from her native country, and degrees in education from two American colleges. She worked as a teacher of the blind and visually impaired in New York City public schools. Presently she is retired, lives in Los Lunas, New Mexico, where she writes every day and takes care of her herb garden.
At the age of fifteen, she published her first poem in a Romanian literary review. After arrival in the United States of America, she challenged herself to writing poetry in English, her new, foster tongue.
Elena Lelia Radulescu has completed a YA historical novel and a middle grade novel in verse. Currently she is working on a collection of poems for young readers.
